EGM - Where do we go from here?
Despite a disappointing turn out of only 16 members (although we did get apologies from 12 who were unavailable) useful discussion ensued and general opinion was that we should continue our good work as an independent organisation.
Bev Fowlston presented a group history, which is now on our history page. Minutes of the meeting are to the right along with a description of the committee roles.
The powerpoint presentation to the right was presented by Martin Whitley at the EGM. If you don't have PowerPoint you can use the free MicroSoft viewer.

A Guided Tour of Charnwood Forest Keith Ambrose, Geodiversity Officer for the BGS, will lead a guided tour of the world famous exposures at Charnwood Forest in Leicestershire. This fascinating site is known for its unique collection of Precambrian fossils and its rock formations. If enough members wish to attend we can organise a minibus or coach for which there will be a small charge to cover the cost.
Keith kindly allowed us to distribute the notes he produced for the visit. They are attached to the lower Word icon, below the event report.
